Adina and I raising money for our Youth Orchestra by gathering pledges for an upcoming playathon next week. Adina--being one of the more diffident members of our family--was a little anxious about asking people.
"What do I say Lex?" she asked the other day as we formed out a list, "Hi my name is Adina, now hand over your money?" So, we discussed the proper way to address someone when asking for donations. By the time we got to church the next day, Adina had mastered a killing technique, piling up the loot, and asking everyone I wanted to ask! When I would approach someone, all they would say was "Sorry, your sister got to us first" Haha!
Oh well, it was fun teaching her a new skill.
